Purpose, editorial content, eligibility of contributions
Anglo Saxonica is a bi-annual journal, publishing one regular issue and one special guest-edited issue per year since 2012. It is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal, indexed on ERIH, that disseminates research connected with the activities of the University of Lisbon Centre for English Studies, promoting the dialogue within areas mainly related to English and North-American Studies. It includes the results of scientific research in the fields of literature, culture, linguistics, inter-arts studies, translation and reception studies, among other disciplines. Its editorial conception promotes the thematic cohesion of each volume, open to different academic approaches, including original essays, interviews, reviews and literary texts. The journal also publishes the work of renowned specialists, invited to guest-edit and coordinate special issues dedicated to specific research areas. All the works submitted, in English and in Portuguese, are subjected to peer-review by the members of the Editorial Board.
